Stephanie Hammer is a two-time Pushcart Prize nominee who writes short fiction with a magical realist slant.  Originally a poet, she dabbles in the non-fiction essay and is currently working on a novel length manuscript.  Hammer is also a recognized, award-winning college instructor who meshes literary analysis, cultural theory, and creative expression.  Affiliated with the University of California, Riverside, she teaches courses on pedagogy, creative writing, and world literature.
